01Workspace lifecycle
A workspace holds the repositories, scan context, scans, and findings for one security surface. Keep active workspaces in the main Workspaces group, and archive a workspace when you want it out of active navigation without deleting its history.
Key idea
02Edit a workspace
Use workspace actions when its name, repository scope, refs, files, or supporting context need to change.
- Open the workspaceOpen an active workspace from your company home page.
- Open workspace actionsSelect the three-dot menu immediately to the right of Export filtered.
- Choose Edit workspaceUpdate the workspace name, repositories, refs, file scope, documentation links, or additional context, then save.
03Archive a workspace
Archive an inactive or completed workspace to keep company navigation focused while retaining its scan and finding history.
- Open workspace actionsFrom the workspace findings page, select the three-dot menu beside Export filtered.
- Choose Archive workspaceReview the confirmation dialog and select Archive.
- Return to company homeApex removes the workspace from the active Workspaces group and places it in Archived workspaces.
Workspaces with scans can be archived
Existing scans do not block archival. The workspace history stays stored and becomes available again after restoration.
04View archived workspaces
When archived workspaces exist, company home shows an Archived workspaces group directly below the active Workspaces group.
- The Archived workspaces group appears only when the company has at least one archived workspace.
- Archived rows keep their workspace summary, finding count, scan count, severity totals, and last activity visible.
- Archived workspace rows cannot be opened. Restore the workspace before viewing its scans or findings.
- Archiving preserves scans and findings; it does not delete workspace data.
- Archiving turns off the workspace scan schedule. Review scheduling after restoring if recurring scans should resume.
05Restore a workspace
In Archived workspaces, select Restore on the row you want to return to active use. The company page refreshes automatically, the row moves back to Workspaces, and the workspace becomes openable again.
Check recurring scans after restoration
Archiving disables the workspace schedule. If the workspace should resume recurring scans or Fix Review, open the scheduled scans guide and configure the schedule again.
